// BEHAVIOUR POLICY:
We created Behaviour Policy to help ensure that students can maximize their fun, develop character, and above all stay safe while participating in our programming. These rules are meant to maintain standards that we believe benefit the children and families of our students, while contributing to the overall atmosphere of our programming.

We do our best to work with students and their families to model good behaviour, and are generally understanding of the pitfalls of growing up, and learning, and we expect the same from students and families. To maintain the quality of our programming, we will enforce this policy when necessary.

The following standards are included in the Behaviour Policy, along with the necessary procedures of enforcement:
- Physically/verbally assaulting other students. Contextually this means abusing or attacking (hitting, kicking, grabbing, throwing, pushing, etc.) other students outside of the context of training.
- Unacceptable and disruptive behaviour. This includes any behaviour that takes attention away from the group's stability (refusal to listen to coaches, refusal to participate, distracting other students, temper tantrums, etc.).
- Negative attitude. This includes negative talk about other students or their families, coaches, staff, the Academy, parents, etc. We try to model positive personalities, and expect positive behaviour from students.

Procedures of enforcement:
1. Verbal warning.
2. Student/parent conference.
3. Final student/parent conference, and the student will take a leave of absence with a term to be determined by the staff, depending on the severity of the violation, up to and including dismissal from programming.

In all cases we will attempt to work with the student and their family to prevent enforcement of this policy whenever possible.

If enforcement of this policy is required, the staff/coaches decision is final.

If a child is no longer able to participate due to violation of the Behaviour Policy, the remaining balance of the program will be non-refundable.

// What to Bring to Camp:
Lunch and snacks:
=> Please bring a packed lunch with snacks. We are unable to microwave or refrigerate lunches, so please put hot food in a thermos and pack ice for cold lunches.
=> Please pack ample snacks to keep your Camper energized. We do not allow snack sharing.
=> Please ensure all lunches are peanut-free for everyone’s safety.
=> It is necessary that every child has a refillable water bottle / container so they can refill throughout the day. Our campers are busy and work hard so hydration is important!

What to Wear to Camp:
=> Proper attire = shorts or sweatpants, t-shirts, hoodie. Students must wear their camp t-shirts for off-site field trips.
=> Change of clothes: we also recommend packing a change of clothes for the Little Campers. They can be prone to accidents.

// BEHAVIOUR POLICY:

– Physically/verbally assaulting other students. Contextually this means abusing or attacking (hitting, kicking, grabbing, throwing, pushing, etc.) other students outside of the context of training.
– Unacceptable and disruptive behaviour. This includes any behaviour that takes attention away from the group’s stability (refusal to listen to coaches, refusal to participate, distracting other students, temper tantrums, etc.).
– Negative attitude.

What Are PD Days?

During the School Year both the Catholic and Public School Divisions in Saskatoon regularly have Professional Development days for teachers. During these days students are off school, so we run day long kids camps to keep kids happy, healthy, and engaged on their day off!  The best part?  You don’t have to be a member.  These day long camps are open to ALL kids ages 5 -11 in and around the city of Saskatoon!

WHY CHOOSE US?

Fun and Engaging Activities: Our kids camps offer a wide range of fun and engaging activities that keep children entertained and excited throughout the day. From team-building games and obstacle courses to arts and crafts projects and outdoor adventures, there’s never a dull moment. We believe that by blending learning with enjoyable activities, we create an experience that is both educational and entertaining for your child.

Character Development: We understand that developing strong character traits is essential for your child’s future success. Our kids camps focus on instilling important values such as leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. Through various group activities and challenges, children will learn to overcome obstacles, work together as a team, and become more confident in their abilities. Our goal is to help your child become a well-rounded individual, both on and off the training mat.

Professional and Caring Staff: The safety and well-being of your child are our top priorities. Our camps are led by highly trained Camp Counsellors who are experienced in working with children of all ages and skill levels. We maintain a low Counsellor-to-student ratio to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and guidance. Our staff is not only knowledgeable but also passionate about creating a positive and nurturing environment for all campers.

Flexible Scheduling Options: We understand that every family’s schedule is unique. That’s why we offer flexible scheduling options for our kids camps. Whether you’re looking for a full-day program or a half-day option, we have options that can accommodate your needs. Choose the camp duration and session dates that work best for your family, and let us take care of the rest.
