Every Student Must Read, Understand, and Agree To This Waiver Before Participating in Martial Arts Activities.
The following waiver of all claims, release from all liability, assumption of all risks, agreement not to sue and other terms of this agreement are entered into by me, the undersigned Student (the “Student”) with and for the benefit of Momentum Martial Arts, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, business operators, agents, and site property owners or lessees (the “Organization”).
1) I confirm that I have reached the age of majority in the Province of Saskatchewan.
2) “Martial Arts Activities” includes, but is not limited to, contact and non-contact martial arts activities, lessons, classes, training, programs, services, use of facilities, and equipment, provided to the Student by the Organization.

4) I freely accept and fully assume all responsibility for all Risks and possibilities of personal injury, death, property damage, or loss resulting from my participation in Martial Arts Activities. I freely assume responsibility for my own safety. Most hotels have accessible laundry facilities (in case you only have one uniform and will need to wash it before the second day’s training).

#3 – 2301 Faithfull Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1T9

High level women from Western Affiliates will be starting the training on Saturday – representatives from Ascendant Martial Arts (Hajar Quinn, Regina), Don’t Survive Thrive Academy (Mary Ellen, Winnipeg), and Bairro (Keltie Squires, Edmonton).

We are really excited to host Professor Camiila Roque of Brazil, as the Black Belt instructor for this event.

  • Lunch & snacks, or money for lunch out
  • Two uniforms is ideal, so you don’t have to do laundry Saturday night
  • Two sets of undergarments (leggings, rash guards, etc), same reason!
  • Water bottle
  • Indoor flip-flops, if desired
  • Jiu-Jitsu journal (optional)

Depending on your dietary needs, there are LOTS of restaurants in close proximity of the Academy, though not everything will be open on Sunday.

There are a few good Asian food restaurants in the area that are open on Saturdays (Jasmine, Fong’s, Minh’s Garden, New Island Sushi), as well as a Press’d Sandwiches and Wayback Burger (both open Saturday and Sunday). There are two buffet’s Asian Buffet and Smiley’s Buffet, both on Circle Drive (open both Saturday and Sunday). And lots of fast food places that are walkable or driveable quickly.

Great question! Saskatoon has lots of fun things to do, including:

  • Walking the Meewasin Trail (https://meewasin.com/locations/)
  • The Wonder Hub (https://wonderhub.ca/)
  • Indoor Play Parks (The Park YXE, Kidz Castle, Play Toon Indoors, The Fun Factory)
  • Remai Modern Art Gallery (https://remaimodern.org/)
  • Shopping, movie theaters, cultural events, and more! (Like our friends at https://colosseumpresents.ca/)

WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE THE BEST STUDENTS

OUR STUDENTS LOVED THEIR EXPERIENCE

The Momentum coaches want to express to our entire Momentum Family how much we have enjoyed working out, and growing our martial arts knowledge and fitness goals together as a family. It takes a lot of discipline but more importantly, it is fun! We are extremely grateful to have shared experiences and had the students we have had over the years. Take the time to read the personal experience of some of our students and why they loved working out with the Momentum Team!
