Our camps are designed to provide a safe and supportive environment where children can learn valuable skills, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
During Public and Catholic School Official PD Days we offer FULL DAY long camps for kids from 9AM to 4PM (Early drop off and pickup is available upon request). The Tiny Dragon’s Program is geared for children aged 3 & 4. Kids learn basic martial arts skills and movements designed to introduce children to body awareness, fitness, and being a member of a group. This is also a Caregiver & Child class, meaning that YOU get to participate with your child in each class! It’s the perfect first activity for your Tiny Dragon!

Initially my husband had been training with Josh and Chris and recommended Joanne to me when I had expressed wanting to get back to the gym. In the past I have found gyms to be intimidating, which led to an unused gym pass and a waste of money. I went into my first session thinking it would be similar to the past gyms I’ve been at, and I would eventually stop showing up. Once I met up with Joanne, I knew she was going to be a good fit for my learning style. Joanne was very down to earth and patient with me. I started training once a week with learning the basics, which I soon found out I had been doing incorrectly for all these years. I felt completely comfortable starting off at square one and possibly making a fool out of myself as there was no feeling of judgement, just encouragement and making sure I was understanding how to properly do the exercises. This changed the way I looked at fitness and it became fun when I wasn’t inadvertently injuring myself or worried about what others around me were thinking. Fast forward to today, I am now training twice a week for 30 minutes a session and I can feel and see how much stronger I have become. This has helped me in my daily life both at home and at work. I really like that Joanne structures our sessions in a way that relate and benefit me for the things I do on a daily basis such as having the strength and stability to pick up my dog from the ground and carry her up a flight of stairs without injuring myself or falling over. Overall, I recommend training with Joanne whether you’re a beginner or looking to build upon your current fitness level. Also, you don’t need to train in martial arts to sign up and the staff and clients are super friendly and welcoming. Swagster Awesome place . They have a great After School Program as well that picks up the kids, brings them to the club, they have snack time and then a lesson in karate or BJJ for the kids and free time to burn off that after school energy.
